Are International Nurses qualified to work In American hospitals?

Yes, any qualified nurse from who speaks English that can pass their NCLEX, TOEFL/IELTS, and successfully goes through the US immigration process is qualified to work here in the US.

How long does the process take?

Generally speaking, it can take around 6 to 12 months or longer to complete the full process from start to finish. This is based on estimates—we can’t guarantee how much time each step of the process will take. The pandemic has also changed up the average timeframe. Your study and travel time will also depend on your schedule, travel visas, etc.

  • NCLEX study time: 1-5 weeks
  • Taking the NCLEX and awaiting results (excluding application approval or travel): about 6 weeks
  • Taking the IELTS and awaiting results (excluding study or travel): 1-2 weeks
  • Immigration process (excluding travel): 3 weeks-6 months

How much is the cost of the whole process?

Similar to giving you a timeframe, we can’t guarantee the total cost of the full process. Cost can vary based on your country of residence and your local embassy. Some of these costs could include NCLEX registration fee, travel costs to sit for the actual NCLEX exam, consular fees, immigrations costs, medical exam costs, criminal background lookup costs, costs to travel to US, etc. In some cases the hospital in the US that is hiring you or the staffing agency may decide to meet some of the costs but it is not guaranteed.

How much is the cost of your online course that will help me study for NCLEX?

The Ultimate Package costs $499.95. You will gain access to the e-book, practice questions, study materials, tutorials and simulated mock exams immediately after your purchase. The online access to your online course will expire exactly after 120 days. We also have a second payment option where you pay $149.95 each month four months. With this second payment option, you will not have access to the online course until you make your 4th and last payment of the $149.95

How Will I know I Am Ready to sit For NCLEX?

During the 120 days when you have access to your online course, our expert tutors will be monitoring your progress from day one including how engaged you are with your study materials and tutorials, how you are performing on the practice tests, etc. which will help them determine if you are able to sit for the actual NCLEX exam.

Who Will pay/sponsor my NCLEX, IELTS exam, immigration process, or travel expenses?

At the moment, we only offer the NCLEX practice questions and resources in The Ultimate Package, as well as the guide to completing the entire process. Our company RN Staffing USA only provides an online platform to help you prepare for the actual NCLEX exam. We do not currently offer immigration sponsorship or assistance with the cost of travel, NCLEX fees, or immigration fees. In some cases the hospital in the US that is hiring you or the staffing agency may decide to meet some or all of the costs but it is not guaranteed.

What are the required pass marks for the NCLEX?

The NCLEX is a pass or fail exam. You won’t get a specific score for your test results. NCLEX questions are automatically generated by the computer in real time based on how you are answering the questions. That means that the next question that you receive depends on how you answered the previous question. You can have anywhere between 75 to 265 questions.

Is it possible to get someone Else to Sit for my NCLEX exam?

Not even a chance! NCLEX testing centers use several high-tech cautionary measures to ensure that it is you who is sitting the exam. These measures random and unannounced fingerprinting, photographing sessions and many other measures.

How do you get employed after you pass the NCLEX?

Once you pass NCLEX, we will help you access nursing job listings so that you can apply for the jobs that best suit you based on your nurse qualifications and experience. With the current huge shortage of nurses in the US, you can be rest assured that you will have a job guaranteed.

Can I take the actual NCLEX Exam before my 120 day online course is over?

With THE ULTIMATE PACKAGE, we will give you offer 10,000 NCLEX style practice questions in categories that NCLES tests in. These questions come with explained answers and rationales. We also give you tons of study materials and tutorials. If our expert NCLEX tutors determine that you are above average by far and they approve that you are ready to sit for NCLEX, you do not have to wait for the 120 days.

Can I work and Still continue to further my education in the US as a nurse?

Yes! If you’ve meet the NCLEX, TOEFL/IELTS, and immigration requirements and you’re qualified to move to the US, you can continue your education in the US if you choose to. US hospitals strongly encourage nurses to continue their education and will even pay for it or at least some of it. Many hospitals provide incentives, programs, and financial assistance to help their employees further their training and education. However, many hospitals will require you to work at least a year before you can use their education advancement programs.

Wil You Help Me Settle down in uSA once i move there?

Arrangements will be made to make sure that you and your family have an apartment to stay at even before you leave your home country. We will also assist you to open your first bank account in USA, get your US mobile phone line, etc.

Are the nursing job opportunities full time or part time?

Yes, there are many full-time nursing opportunities in the US. There are also temporary and part-time positions as well as well as travelling nurses. Some nurses even prefer to work three days in a week where they work twelve hours each week. If you need a particular schedule for example to accommodate your family’s needs, you can arrange with the hospital that you are working for.

I’m not from an English-speaking country. Is English proficiency mandatory?

Yes, English proficiency is mandatory for this program. This is why passing the TOEFL/IELTS is one of the requirements. English is the official language in the US and it is the primary language that is used at any hospital setting. Therefore, it is very important for international nurses that hope to come to work as nurses to have basic skills in both written and spoken English.

What is the NCLEX like?

The NCLEX is a computerized multiple-choice test offered at specific testing facilities. It does not have a set number of questions—your exam will be tailored to how well you perform each question.

Once you have successfully (or unsuccessfully) answered a certain amount of questions that is determined by the computer, your test will automatically end. The test doesn’t reveal whether you’ve answered a question correctly or incorrectly.

You can have anywhere from 75 to 265 questions. You’ll also have a 6-hour maximum time limit for taking the NCLEX but you can finish sooner based on how you are performing. You should receive your unofficial results (either a PASS or a FAIL) in 48 hours. Your official results will be sent to you in about 6 weeks.

How do I pass the NCLEX with ease?

Are the NCLEX questions general or specific to different specialties?

NCLEX broadly covers entry-level nursing. It doesn’t specialize in a specific area.

  • Health promotion and maintenance

Will be able to move to the us with my spouse and children?

Yes. If you pass NCLEX and you get a confirmed job placement with a US hospital, your spouse and any of your children under 21 can apply for the Green card visas with you. Unfortunately, you will not be able to bring in all the family members, like parents, siblings, cousins, etc. You will also need to be legally married to your spouse with documented proof. If you have any kids who are over 21 years of age, they too do not qualify to automatically get a Green card under you. However, if you move to the US, your Green card will mature to US citizenship and at that time you can sponsor more family members who are closely related to you to come and join you in the United States.

Can I sit for NCLEX Again if i fail the first time?

If you do not pass your NCLEX the first time, you can re-take it in 45 days. You can sit for the NCLEX up to a maximum of 8 times in one year.

Are There Any other nCLEX preparation online courses out there?

In fact, there are quite a few. Most of them charge $4, 000 and above, or a hefty monthly fee, and they mostly cater to nursing school graduates from the United States who are not yet ready to sit for NCLEX. I recently graduated nursing school and I only have only been working for the last one year at a government hospital, do I qualify for this program?

Yes, you do! If you are from and English-speaking country and you have graduated from the nursing program that is accredited in your country, all you need is at least one year’s direct patient contact experience preferably in a hospital setting to qualify for this program.

What is the criteria that I need to meet to qualify for this program?

You’re required to have at least one-year minimum experience working in your home country as a qualified nurse, pass the NCLEX and later pass the TOEFL/IELTS test, and successfully go through the immigration process to qualify for the right to legally move, live, and work in the US as a nurse.

Can I apply or get a job with a US hospital and sign a contract with them after passing the NCLEX while still in my home country?

Absolutely yes, you can! But only after you pass NCLEX and even before going through the immigration process. We will guide you as you start applying for a job in any of the 50 states in the US and sign a contract with your preferred hospital before even landing in USA.

Can I further my education when I move to the US to work as nurse?

Yes, absolutely. You’re allowed and encouraged to pursue your higher education while you work because that’ll only help you earn more as a nurse. However, our recommendation is that you work for the very first hospital that hires you for at least a year before you decided to take time off work to further your studies.

Is accommodation guaranteed if I successfully migrate to the US?

It all depends on the hospital and in some instances the staffing agency that you are working with and the terms of your contract with them. Some hospitals will happily pay for your accommodation and even transportation. And as part of our package, we’ll walk you through how to negotiate your contract to ensure all your needs are met adequately.

What are the required documents before sitting for the actual NCLEX exam?

Before you can take the NCLEX, you’ll need an Authorization to Test (ATT). To get this, you’ll need to apply with your nursing regulatory body and then register with Pearson VUE. We will help you with this process.

Are African Nurses qualified to work in American Hospitals?

Yes, they are. If you are a qualified nurse with at least one year experience and you are from are proficient in English, the only thing standing in your way is passing NCLEX and you’ll be on your way to America in no time.

How do I get the lessons to prepare for the NCLEX exams?

When I go to the US and start my job with a hospital, how many years will I be required to work for that hospital?

You will be required to work at your first hospital in the US for a minimum of three years then after that you can choose to continue working with the same hospital or chose to work for a different hospital of your own choice.

If let us say for an example that after the 120-day access to your online NCLEX prep course your tutors determine that I am not ready to sit for the actual NCLEX based on my performance on the online course, what happens, and will I get a refund?

If this happens, you will not get our approval to sit for NCLEX. Your only option would be to purchase the online course all over again which will give you another chance of 120 days to give it a second try.

After I pass the actual NCLEX exam, what comes first – is it the immigration process or the getting a job with the US hospital?

Once you pass the actual NCLEX exam, the immediate step will be getting a job with a US hospital. Once you sign your job contract with the hospital, we will work with you to use that job contract to kick off your immigration process.

Will there be a interview with the hospital after I pass NCLEX or NCLEX the same as the interview?

Yes, once you pass NCLEX, you will go through a virtual interview with the hospital to help the hospital determine whether you’d be a good fit for them.

At this point, the hospital interviewers simply want to see who you are, how you’ll fit in with their team and if you’ll be an asset to their team. Do not worry about this interview process at all because we’ll help prepare you for this interview ahead of time.

Is there an age limit to enter this program?

NO there is NOT! There is no official age limit to enter this program as an international nurse. If you can dream it, you can achieve it – so you better get started NOW!

Once I get to the US, will I get some form of training to help me acclimatize?

Absolutely yes! Each hospital will give you a new hire orientation training so that you can get to meet your new work colleagues and familiarize yourself with how things work at that hospital.

Do you give loans and then you deduct them from my salary once I am employed?

We as RN Staffing US can consider meeting your costs in advance and then you pay us back once you start working at the US hospital. This will be decided on individual-to-individual basis and of course and ONLY AFTER you pass the actual NCLEX which is the most important first step.

Is there a way to subsidize costs?

The NCLEX exam registration fee, immigration and air travel costs are pretty much set, so those are beyond our control. However, when it comes to purchasing The Ultimate Package, you have the option to purchase it outright or pay it off in 4 equal instalments.

For how long is this program going to run?

This is currently ongoing with no specific set deadline especially because the shortage for nurses in the US is projected to be there for the next many years. However, you do need to know that a lot of international nurses are also becoming aware of this great opportunity to legally move to the US, so the sooner you can jump on board the better.

How much will I get paid as a nurse when I come to USA?

You can make anywhere from $29 per hour for regular hours and from $43 per hour for overtime. Nurses working travel assignments, have higher qualifications or are practicing in a skilled specialty often make even more money than the $29 per hour for regular hours and from $43 per hour for overtime.

Will I get a refund if I fail the actual NCLEX exam or at least get a chance to sit for NCLEX again?

Yes, it is possible to take the NCLEX exam again if you fail the first time. However, it is important to note that there is absolutely NO refunds.

The US-based National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), which administers NCLEX, allows test-takers who failed, to retake the exam s maximum of 8 times per year – provided that they cover the NCLEX registration fee each time.

What state in the US will be placed in?

It all depends on you and what your preference is. To help you make an informed decision, we can help recommend a few hospitals that we believe you can thrive in but at the end of the day, you get to decide which of the 50 states in the US you’d prefer to live and work in. You can even choose to move to a state where you have some family members or friends who already live in that state.

Is the hourly pay standard regardless of your qualifications and experience?

The $19 per hour for regular hours and the $43 an hour for overtime that we mentioned is the lowest possible minimum pay that you are guaranteed to make at any hospital in the US that hires you. The hourly pay could even be higher depending on your qualifications and level of experience.

After passing my NCLEX exams and moving to the U.S, how long does it take to become a citizen?

After arriving and staying with your Green card for five years in the United States without any immigration violations, you’ll be eligible to apply for United States citizenship.
